Here’s my long-term thesis. Most blockchains decentralize transactions but still depend on traditional cloud infrastructure to host their applications, data, and services. ICP changes that equation. 🔹 Full-stack on-chain: Websites, backends, storage, and applications running directly on-chain. 🔹 Chain Fusion: Native cross-chain interactions that reduce traditional bridge dependencies and associated security risks. 🔹 Cloud Engines: Configurable compute infrastructure with potential applications across enterprises and traditional cloud providers. 🔹 Sovereign AI: Autonomous agents operating through decentralized infrastructure. 🔹 Compute as currency: Growing demand for compute creates demand for cycles, connecting real network usage to ICP’s token economy. Here’s the bigger picture: Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, Polkadot, and even companies like Amazon could potentially use ICP as an infrastructure layer. They don’t have to lose for ICP to succeed. The opportunity isn’t just another cryptocurrency competing for market share. It’s infrastructure that other blockchains, businesses, and AI systems could build upon. The technology is being built. Global adoption remains to be proven. I’m not betting on the next blockchain. I’m betting on the infrastructure that could power them all. Belief Over Fear.
